I have to give some major credit to Jeff Green (R.I.P) who was the greatest influence I had on my DeeJaying. Disco, funk, early electro, freestyle and hip hop are huge influences and led me to discover house music at the tail end of the 80's / early 90's. Started DeeJaying around '92 and a few years later found myself throwing and playing raves and EDM weeklies all over Atlanta. Did the rave thing til '03 and got into the clubs around then doing the top 40/rap thing. Held numerous residencies in the ATL. DJ Xterminate (Dave Howe) began producing Electronic Dance Music in January of 2009. He started out producing numerous tracks on a computer program called Mixcraft 4. Then, he began producing his tracks on Ableton Live. That is when his music really took off. DJ Xterminate put out his first album called, Nature's Realm in April, 2010 which featured the hit, View from the Cosmos. His radio show, DJ Exterminate's Trance Session has aired on Powermix FM Radio, Absolute Tunage Radio, DT FM Radio, and 1Worldtrance Radio.
